Agreement between housing board and GRIHA for green building concept

The agreement has been signed between Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board and Green Rating for Integrated habitat Assessment (GRIHA) in order to integrate environmental susceptibility and natural atmosphere in the schemes of the Board. Board’s Chairman Shri Krishna Murari Moghe and Commissioner Shri Nitesh Vyas were present on the occasion

Moghe said that the agreement to adopt green building concept in the schemes of the board will benefit common customers. A presentation on the scheme was given by the Chief Executive Officer of GRIHA Shri Sanjay Seth. It may be highlighted that GRIHA council is an institute founded by the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and TERI.

A resolution was passed to adopt green concept in the schemes of the board at the last meeting of the board of directors. After the agreement, green building concept will be adopted in important residential projects of the board and in the building constructed for the state government.
