At GITEX Africa 2025 in Marrakesh, India showcased its leadership in digital innovation and public infrastructure.

Represented by Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State for Skill Development and Education, India highlighted transformative initiatives like Aadhaar, UPI, ONDC, and Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), which has onboarded over one crore users. Emphasizing collaboration with African nations, Chaudhary underlined India’s success in building scalable, inclusive tech models. With a 33.39% YoY growth in AI talent hiring, India also stands out as a global AI talent hub. Bilateral meetings explored synergies in AI, research, and capacity building. India’s DPI model is increasingly seen as a blueprint for digital transformation and inclusive growth in developing economies.
