Bondada Engineering Ltd has secured multiple Balance of System (BOS) orders worth ₹469.52 crore from Adani Green Energy and Adani Green Energy Six for a 250 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat.
The project is located in the Khavda renewable energy zone, which is emerging as one of India’s largest clean energy hubs. The contracts further strengthen Bondada Engineering’s growing presence in the renewable energy engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) sector.
Under the agreement, the company will undertake the supply of goods along with on-site services as part of the Balance of System package for the solar project. The execution timeline for the project has been fixed at eight months from the receipt of the order.
With the latest order win, Bondada Engineering’s cumulative executed renewable energy capacity for the Adani Group has increased to 975 MW. The company stated that the consistent inflow of large and diversified orders reflects growing customer confidence in its engineering expertise, execution capabilities, and ability to deliver infrastructure projects within timelines.
The Khavda renewable energy park in Gujarat is expected to play a major role in India’s clean energy expansion strategy, attracting significant investments in solar and hybrid renewable projects. Industry experts view the project as part of the broader push towards accelerating utility-scale renewable infrastructure across the country.
The order also highlights increasing opportunities for EPC companies involved in transmission systems, BOS infrastructure, and renewable project implementation as India advances towards its ambitious non-fossil fuel capacity targets.
