Waaree Energies Ltd has announced that its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Four, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited for the development of a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat.
The agreement, executed on May 6, 2026, marks a major step in strengthening the company’s renewable energy portfolio and expanding its presence in India’s fast-growing wind energy sector. The project follows an earlier disclosure made by the company in February 2026, reflecting steady progress in its clean energy pipeline.
The upcoming wind project in Gujarat is expected to contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy targets while supporting grid stability and green power generation. Gujarat remains one of India’s leading renewable energy hubs, particularly in solar and wind infrastructure.
Alongside this strategic development, Waaree Energies reported strong financial results for Q4 FY26, underlining its accelerating business momentum. The company recorded revenue of ₹8,840.25 crore, reflecting a sharp 111.8% year-on-year growth, while profit after tax (PAT) rose 74.76% to ₹1,126.26 crore.
For the full financial year FY26, Waaree Energies posted total revenue of ₹26,536.77 crore, marking an impressive 84% increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
The company’s strong financial performance reflects robust market demand for renewable energy solutions in India, driven by increasing investments in solar and wind infrastructure, supportive government policies, and growing corporate demand for green power.
With this new wind project, Waaree Energies continues to strengthen its position as a key player in India’s clean energy transition, supporting the country’s ambitious sustainability and energy security goals.
